Resolved Question: Im 17 and want to travel this weekend, suggestions?

We live in Houston and are willing to travel up to 600 miles from here. We have limited funds ($250 - whatever gas costs) and about 65 hours starting on Friday afternoon, where should we go? I'm not planning on staying at a hotel, so don't suggest any please. Also, I realize these are some very extreme parameters, but me and my friends just want to make this weekend crazy. So what are my options?

Voting Question: Approved I-485, VAWA and EAD?

Hello every, I will thank you every in advance for help. I am in a situation, where I can not find an answer. Briefly, I am married to USC and got my conditional GC 3 years ago. We have a baby together. Later he refused to file for Removal of Conditions. So, I filed petition to remove conditions based on extreme hardship criteria. In response I got an extension to work and travel for a year. Meanwhile, through an agency, I got an attorney, who filed another petition based VAWA and withdrew my first petition. Soon after the first petition was withdrawn, I got a job and started working based on the extension to work and travel, I got earlier with my first petition. My attorney was aware of my situation and work authorization status. My work Authorization is coming to an end and I need an extension to continue working. I can not stay at home, not working, for multiple reasons. I am still living with my husband, still married to him. While my attorney filed VAWA, I never paid any attention to details and I am regretting it now. I recently have become aware that, the attorney, I got through the agency lost her job and I have no one to answer my questions. If anyone can help me, with these few questions, it would be greatly appreciated. 1) When I used my extension for work even after withdrawing the petition based on which I got work authorization for one more year, was this the right thing to do? 2) As my I-485 form is already approved, is this VAWA application considered as Removal of Condition based on abusive ground? 3) Can I file EAD based on I-360? What I understood is that if the I-360 and I-485 is filed simultaneously, then I am authorize to file for EAD. But my I-485 was approved 3 years ago. I am not sure if it needs to be refiled with VAWA petition. I look forward to hearing a response. Thanks you. Thanks PJ....You were silent right. I got some of my paperwork today. My I-360 is filed as Removal of condition based on abusive ground. A Notice of action was mailed stating that I am entitled to work and travel for a year, that resolves my concern of working illegally. I would appreciate if I can know if I need to apply for extension of Prima Facie. I could not find every pages of it. I will try to receive. But is it in every case that Prima Facie needs extension after 180 days? Thanks

Voting Question: Doppler effect on light?

We every know that when approaching the speed of sound, the sound waves land on each other as an extreme form of the doppler effect. This causes the sonic boom. My question is, when travelling at the speed of light, would the light waves land on themselves; if so, what would be the effects? If not, why? And what would happen? Any extra information for clarity is absolutely appreciated. Thanks.

Resolved Question: Need urgent help.. please read! ?

My life is a fucking mess. My parents are religious and so are my siblings.. I just feel like I don't fit into my family because of this. They'll NEVER let me out or join community groups, or sport clubs *i adore sports* but I can never be a part of that because my parents always restrain me. My older brother is at a bording school, and my little sisters a kiss ass, and does whatever my parents tell her. She's pretty religious too. My dreams are to travel, attend parties be part of social groups, and just live life to the extreme! How can I do that when my parents never let me out and also tell me to just sit down and look pretty. I can't handle it anymore. I feel as though they look me as the messed up child. The abnormal one. I can't even go for a walk for heavens sake. My dad is always so negative and it really brings me down, and my mum is always distant- I thought daughters are meant to be close with their mums- but mine doesn't give a shit about me. I always feel guilty... That I should be grateful I have a family- but then again I feel like I have no life because of them. I feel sleepy and sick of my life. every it is, is work school work homework work chores work chores exams school work chores.That's my life. Even my school life is controlled. I wish to be a wildlife firefighter yet they think its wrong that a girl does a mans job! So instead I'm studying physics- which I'm going to fail. I'm sick and sleepy of it! Ok, for my honors english class we have a research project on a poet due. this is my introduction paragraph(don't tell me to shorten it.) I've never done a research paper before and I just want to know if I'm off to a good start. Byron was comparable to a modern day celebrity, such as living a carefree aristocratic lifestyle and being the focus of many scandals such as sodomy, incest, voluminous amounts of sexual affairs, illegitimate kids and a voluntary exile. A plot about victims of cannibalism - Five teenagers have graduated from high school and they plan a celebration for "good memories". They plan and plan but it doesn't work out and they decide to visit Frank, a pal who left their school and immigrated to the countryside in Wales. They travel there and go to Frank's home, his parents are at a hotel so Frank is the only one there. He has an idea of celebration, camping in the restricted woods a few minutes away from his home. They don't know it's restricted because in the 1920s, a group of cannibals lived there and people were being mauled to death and a search was carried out and never found the cannibals. In the 1970s, the woods were declared safe, as they thought every cannibals are dead until more people were missing, the woods are fenced off because they searched it and again found nobody. The teenagers climb the fence and find a spot to set the tent. Frank walks off to find his home keys otherwise he'd be locked out his home for a week. Dark approaches, Frank doesn't return and the teens light a flame after trying to look for Frank and they drink booze assuming he changed his mind and went home. They hear thunder and it starts to rain, they stamp out the flame and go in the tent. As it approaches 2AM, they wake up to look the flame has relit outside the tent but a spitroast has been build over the flame with human skin wrapped around a stick cooking in the flame and skin stretched out to make a drum with Frank's tatoo on it (they heard a drum playing in the distance earlier on whilst Frank was missing). They freak out and try call the police, but strangely, their bag has been rummaged through and phones have been taken. Frank returns in the darkness, shaken in extreme fear. He remembers being hit over the head and he's blacked out. It was EXTREME and we had to fly to AMERICA (which is practically on the other side of the world to me) to a SPECIALIST to receive it fixed. It was a close miracle that the treatment worked. No worries it’s every cured now but my mind’s always been different. I seem to notice different things that other people don’t look. For example, I know when a pencil was sharpened just by looking at the bluntness of the tip. Or I can pick up a pen and tell how empty it is, because I notice the tiny difference in weight. People ask me why, I’m not really sure. I just have a odd mind. I can remember things too. I remember at least fifteen different liscence plates on the cars on the way to school, or what the old lady who told me to tug up my trousers was wearing that day. One day, I really spooked out my Language Arts teacher, Ms Ray, when I complemented her outfit consisting of a belt that she wore exactly twenty-three days ago, and removed it at 11:47 a.m. Are you weirded out? I have to admit with regret that most of the religious people are fundamentalists or them who take their religious texts literally while the exact opposite is the same . They reject everything while calling themselves atheists. I call both these groups ignorant because they have decided to take the extreme and anti intellectual roads. Now why is it so difficult to meet people who travel the middle path?

Voting Question: How can I figure out what I want to do with my life?

I am finishing up my associates degree at my local community college and getting ready to transfer to a state college but I still have NO idea, at every, what I want to do with my life. I have a nearly full time job at a quick food place and I know for a fact that I don't want to work there for the relax of my life. Does anyone know of a good "career finder" website that's free, helpful, and doesn't want every of my information? Or maybe have any suggestions for me by looking at the following information? I lean more towards liberalism. I am very relaxed and can work well below stressful situations. Open Question: Someone who knows their stuff about lifting trucks. ?

What's up I have a 1995 Tahoe 2dr that I want to build into a monster. A mud machine. I don't care about rock climbing or riding trails. I just like to go out on the weekends and find a mud pit with my buddies, and tear it up. I'm currently deployed in afghanistan and plan on starting this build when I return to the states in about 3 months. I have a 2010 Malibu as a primary vehicle so I'm not concerned with keeping this rig road worthy. The only time it'll be on pavement is traveling to the next mud hole. So this is what I want. I want a 9-12 in lift. Either a 6in suspension with 3 in body or a 9in susp with a 3in body lift. Or another configuration that might be better suited to extreme conditions. And I want to be able to fit at least 38-39in boggers on this beast. So other than the lift and tires, what other parts am I looking at needing?

Open Question: Best prosthetic doctor in the U.S.?

My dad lost his left leg in a motorcycle accident in 2000. It was amputated 5 inches below the left knee. From the judgment he received the lady that hit him is responsible for every costs associated with the accident. (State Farm Insurance) He has been seeing a local doctor here in Muskegon, MI since the accident happened. He has also tried Mary-FB in Grand Rapids, MI. The problem he is having is the doctor builds his legs very poorly and in turn causes extreme pain and more than 3 weeks out of the month he is unable to even wear his prosthesis. The main problem he gets is the leg fits to tightly and causes boils and splitting at the bottom of the stump where they stitched after the operation. He also has a rod in his femur. As stated every costs including travel will be paid so cost is not an issue. I just feel horrible as my dads quality of life is horrible due to the needy legs his doctor builds for him. I feel as if the doctor knows he can charge what he wants due to costs being paid and so he lacks in quality. Please direct me to the best doctor and or legs that we will be able to find in the U.S. as his current doctor and legs are now no longer an option.

Open Question: metaphysical issues in poetry?

In a question about poetry I've been given, it asks me to explain contextual and metaphysical issues. The Poem is basically about a man and him travelling back to his home after studying in the city for a year. The writer (Robert Gray) uses a variety of symbols and such to show the subject of the poem's state of mind, how even though he yearns the countryside, he finds it difficult to leave behind the life of the city, which he regards as repetitive, uninspiring and gives him a feeling of entrapment, how that even though it is his life, he no longer controls the outcomes and end result. So could I say that metaphysical issues in the poem would be and internal conflict in regards to extreme change, the loss of greater control in life and then for contextual issues say that there is a sense of loss of respect in regards to the natural environment caused by alienation due to the reliance on routine conformity and responsibilities?

Resolved Question: Are my sway bar links, struts or something else causing clunk?

Have a Hyundai Santa Fe 2007. I had a clunking going over any slight indent in the road (more noticeable at slower speeds) and decided to replace my struts and sway bar links. Everything went well but when I test drove vehicle passenger side had a significant clunk. Went back below and sway bar links were extremely loose on that side (could move with my hand). Tightened it up as best I could and went back out. It removed the extreme clunk but then I started to notice that any bump I go over such as a sewer cover or pothole would feel very difficult going over it. Going over speed bumps or traveling at high speeds on flat surfaces feels much better than the initial problem. Also noticed on the passenger side that there is a slight clunk similar to the problem I had with loose sway bar link. Thinking I need to tighten every the sway bar link bolts a little bit past spec and to load the suspension while doing that (I did not load suspension while tightening). Any other problems that may exist? It may be the struts I put in but how can I tell? Reminder...the sway bar links I put in there are brand new.

Resolved Question: Study medicine in UK?

Hi every, i'm a 18 year old pupil studying my last year in upper secondary school in Norway. I want to study medicine after that but i'm thinking of studying international for some reasons. Most of us Norwegians travel to Eastern Europe because the grade requirements are lower but the problem is that they have to learn their language in order to talk with patients and i'm not satisfied with their studies. I have good grades with lots of 5 and 6 (6 being the highest grade with 3 being average while 1 being the lowest) but i don't think i'll enter in Norway as the competition is intense and require grade 6 in every 25 subjects and because my grade in written Norwegian language is average at 3 although my oral Norwegian as almost perfect (can even receive grade 5). I found out last year that i learn way better in English than Norwegian so that's why i want to study in English. The only English speaking country in Europe that i could think of is UK (it would give me the opportunity to study and talk English with patients) so i'm planning to study there instead. At the moment my mind is totally blank because i have no information on how to apply for universities in UK, costs (will i pay home or overseas fee????), living etc. I really need extreme help here because i'm close to last year exams and i still have no idea what to do. I just don't want to toss away my precious time that i have now otherwise i will lose my battle to become a physician. Thank You

Resolved Question: In black holes, where space expands faster than the speed of light, how is there gravity?

Gravity can only travel at the speed of light, and so it seems like it would follow that gravity from a particle can only be felt if light from there could be observed. Yet this is obviously not true because black holes have extreme amounts of mass. Could someone correct my contradiction?

Resolved Question: Should I buy Asus or Medion laptop?

Hi every, I'm in the market for a new 15.6" laptop to replace my ageing HP dv6-3060sa. The two choices I narrowed down to are that of a Medion and an Asus. Having not owned either of these brands before, I would like some advice because it's tough deciding between them. The Medion obviously has the better specs but weighs 3.5 kg, and the page does not offer information about the keyboard (which from what I've read is german and lacks buttons like home/page-up/page-down/insert/delete), rpm of the difficult steer (which strongly needs to be 7200 not 5400) nor the battery life (which I want to be 2 hours at a minimum). Portability and good cooling is essential because I tend to travel a lot and I will use this machine for college and research but I also want to do some heavy gaming (BF3, SWTOR, Crysis 2 and other modern games) with playable frame rates. The Asus has a 2 year warranty unlike the Medion (which offers a 12 months warranty). ASUS also has a non-glossy screen (unlike the Medion as well) and weighs 2.7 kg (which I guess is fine because my previous laptop was 2.4 kg and I found it light enough to carry around). The Asus also offers HD+ resolution while the Medion goes up to 1366x768 pixels only. The CPUs and space capacities of both are identical but the GPU of the Medion is much more powerful (as notebookcheck.net says) than the one Asus has, and this is where my dilemma kicks in. Resolved Question: I'm 19. Should I be worried about my chest pains?

I am currently 19 years old and sometimes (quite often) I receive severe chest pains that travel to my left arm and hurt very badly. I have a difficult time breathing during those times, and if I want to receive a full gasp of air it feels as though my heart will literally explode. The area around my heart feels like it experiences a lot of pressure and this scares me because when I took a blood test they told me my cholesterol is slightly too high. These conditions increased after I started taking a birth control pill (Yaz) for about a year. During that time my left leg and calf would experience tremendous pain and pressure to the point where I couldn't move it. I stopped using the birth control after the side effects interrupted my every day life. Whenever I try to run, I receive sleepy very easily and receive extreme shortness of breath and my head starts to hurt so bad that I have to cease. Sometimes I look a green film over my eyes as if I am about to black out. Once in school after running the mile, I actually blacked out. Now, I am a healthy person, I weight 135 and am 5'9. I eat healthy (although I must admit since college started my habits have gone a bit bad) so I don't understand if this is something I should be worried about or not. I told my parents about this, but they say I'm being silly and that things like this do not happen to nineteen year old's. Somehow I do not feel right though. I'm not sure what to make of this situation, so in your opinion, should I receive this checked out or is it no big deal?

Voting Question: Serious car trouble, Please anyone advise...?

I have a Renault Clio 2004 Extreme 3. I have very little knowledge of the inner workings of any car. I will simply list the vehicle's problems... 1) Most of the dashboard lights are on, sometimes more and sometimes less, but they are normally always on, unless coasting in neautral (explained below). Hand brake light, cease light, SERV light, steering wheel light are the usual suspects. 2) The cars Headlights do not work, despite buying new ones. I bought new ones today. They worked for around 10 seconds and then faded to black...permanantely. Dead. 3) Indicators do not work 95% of the time unless the car has been running for atleast 5 - 10 minutes and when out of gear. Or in other words, while travelling, I put the gear stick into neutral and when the rev counter reaches zero. I think it is perhaps to do with the engine warming up. I say this because it does not work when I first turn the ignition on and am stationary. 4) Similarly, the windscreen wiper does not work unless the car is shoved out of gear, coasting in neutral after 5 - 10 minutes of driving. Again...something to do with the enging warming up? 5) Driver-side electric window does not work unless the same as over happens (I put it out of gear, rev's reach zero, car obey's me) 6) I have discovered a weird trick where...If indicators/headlights/window stops working...I quickly turn the heater on to full blast and they magically work. It is odd... 7) Sometimes, the heater does not work atall. 8) My power steering normally does not work. The over technique of coasting in neautral sometimes alows it to work again. But as soon as i go back into gear, it goes stiff. This is the same with the over problems...when I go back into gear, the indicators will cease etc AND...before I receive criticised...I have taken it to a garage twice and it has had a diagnostics test and both times the machine cannot pick up anything...amazingly. I took it for an MOT the same day as I had the diagnostics test...and it passed. I dont understand. The car is almost undriveable...yet deemed legal for the road by a qualified proffesional. I know that we need to be cautious when it comes to air travel, but do you feel it is getting out of hand when there are numerous stories of people being inappropriately touched and treated? Let me hear every you deep-thinker's opinions. This is what I have arrive to believe so far... -let me know if you find it too extreme Our universe is based upon a little speck, what became our universe must have arrive from something unless there are deities or other unknown powers outside of our senses or dimension. The universe expands at a radiating angle, projecting outwards and scientists and many Greek philosophers were able to reverse that radiating angle to find where our universe started. They traced it back to that little speck. Plants die or do they? It's fall, leaves are falling, the leaves decompose, but they don't disappear, they eventually become reusable in the form of soil and more trees are grown. It works with cow manure too... Well we, who were created by our parents definitely came from something, we weren't absolutely nothing and they for sure were not as well and neither were our ancestors thousands of generations ago. Yes we die, yes our bodies decompose and we become soil or become ashes and travel the world. But is it really just like that? The people who suffer from let's say autism or down syndrome, is it fair that they live this life, arrive and go and that is just it with them? If only our world was so cruel and simple, yet our world is undefinable with our senses, neither is the universe. I believe we are let's say in a sense "trapped" in our bodies in the 3rd dimension. Let's say there was some life form living in the 1st dimension and we somehow saw them. Being in the 1st dimension restricts you from having the ability to look up or down, you are left with left and right and forwards and backwards. We approach them, try to converse with them, but they cannot look us, every they look is the imprint, the very flat surface of our shoe, and they could consider us a godly symbol that spoke to us as they don't know how to make it out. This may have happened back then, which resulted in the creation of religion (I am not religious) as some form outside of our dimension tried to talk to us (ghosts, spirits). close death experiences are usually accounted as out of body experiences where the person feels as if he was leaving his body and was able to look down upon it and look the doctors operating on them or their loved ones mourning, they then look a bright light. Some may argue that this is just the dopamine being outrageously released, but I don't know...we don't know... Why were every these emotions and our wisdom created? Why do we feel pain and feel adore? Why is it that people can suffer from extreme terror, why is this every justified? If this were based on a cruel universe, then yes it is fair, but for every I believe is we were here for a better purpose, for we have no limit to adore or knowledge. Greek mathematicians could do logs in their heads, imagine doing that without a calculator! So I have just nice of pieced this together and this has completely changed my perspective on life and how to live it. I believe that when we do die, we don't just go, we go somewhere else, somewhere much more complex than the world, a place where we understand everything and maybe we have 5,000 senses and we just travel in the form of spirits. That is outrageous, but every I'm saying is it could be. I mean we don't disappear and anything created, processed (our thoughts and souls) must go somewhere so we do, and we may enter a completely new dimension. Nothing can disappear, you can't even delete things once it is saved on a computer, it only goes to cyber-space...think of that. I will start by saying...I am 25 years of age, I display an extravert personality and I am very confident. Girls and guys think I receive every the ladies, I am handsome and I hang with other handsome male friends and I seem to have everything going for me. I have expensive clothing, good looks and I have almost every gadget to date. However, despite every of these things, I am very very lonely, bored and miserable with my life and no one knows or would even think it could be possible. Currently I live with 3 relatives (much older) and they are very strict. I cannot have company and they are so busy with their job and church, they barely have time for me. Although we live in the same home, we rarely agree on things and they are too busy to talk to me. As a result, I lock myself in my room and only arrive out for diner, bathroom and to play with the pets and yes, I do pay rent. My family (live with) aren't folk to have company over, sit and have a good time or go out and like family time together. They still treat me as a kid and would rather nitpick and punish me for something rather than have a mature adult conversation about politics or w.e. adults talk about. As a result, I tend to hang with my friends or spend as much time working or doing something that gets me out of the home. However, when I am hanging with the guys, if we go out and party and talk to girls, I feel as if I am faking it and I hate myself for it. I act very confident and seem to be a good catch for women. However, its every a facade. Inside I am very lonely and sometimes question the point of going out or talking to girls knowing at the end of the day I cannot have company and therefore I cannot pursue a real meaningful relationship. Or, if I was to date this lady, I would be forced to go out and spend $$$ in oder to have fun. Besides, Most women don't have guys over especially when they first meet, so going over the lady's home initially won't work. I feel every time I want to have fun or like myself (when sitting in my room playing video games, watching TV, using the computer and reading become boring) going out in NYC or dating is really expensive. , Especially when you can't have company and you have no choice but to travel and pay for external fun (movies, bars, cubs, skating etc). My male friends are every aware of my living situation but are unaware of my true feelings and how extreme my situation is. To remain chilly, I rarely talk about it even though it bothers me indefinitely. I have been to their houses numerous times, met their families and they are very glad people. They can have company (male and female), they have good relationships with their parents and they have the options of going out for fun or staying in (with or without a female, the guys or both). They even have other relatives over for special occasions or normal days. I look how well rounded and glad my friends are with their lives. There are some weeks where I won't receive a single phone call from anyone except my male friends. I attempted to tell my male friends but they do not understand because they cannot relate. They are more party friends than friends I can share really deep issues with. The last time I tried, I was given some tongue and cheek advice and the subject was quickly changed. I could tell I made my pal feel uncomfortable. At this point, I am ready to just move and start my life over. I feel like I've wasted 25 years of my life. I have a younger sister and older brother. They each have their possess places in different states. They are very glad and like their lives, they are always posting pics on FB and they seem content. I know, because they never answer the phone when I call. I feel alone and helpless. I can't move out because I cannot afford NYC rent...So what can a guy do that can't have company from either sexes, I can't talk to my relatives who have created this situation and my bro and sis are too busy enjoying their lives to be concerned. I am not suicidal or anything...but I am just a normal guy who has run out of options. I am past the point of boredom and loneliness... I feel as if my life is becoming redundant and even talking to hot girls doesn't excite me in the least no more. (Just to give you an idea of the people I live with...I have never had a snooze over as a kid, they have never given me the sex talk or even ask when I am going to receive a gf. They do not even know what my favorite color is or have the slightest clue who my friends of 8 years are or care to meet any of them.) To make matters worse, I am also an insomniac, so thats more hours of being up and bored smh lol... as they say "Im every f***ed up in the game"... Has anyone else been in a similar situation? If so, how have you dealt with it? Thanks... Mike, if I could move out I would. i do not know where you live but try doing a quick craigslist search for a decent place in any boro of NYC and we are talking about $900 and up plus utilities and most places want a security deposit plus 2 months rent upfront. Resolved Question: Suggestions for extreme flight anxiety?

Usually I pick to steer instead of fly due to my legitimate fear of flying, BUT I have to take a last minute trip halfway across the country on Thurs and I'm seriously stressed about it. Every time I even think of the flight my eyebrow starts to twitch... I don't know what a panic attack feels like but every now and then my heart feels very "deep" and it becomes difficult to breathe. When I've traveled in the past I've had a few drinks before the flight. I was still seriously anxious but I think it helped (maybe?). I really don't want to drink, though. I can't stand it. I am considering going to my doctor tomorrow and seeing if he can write me a tiny prescription for an anti anxiety pill for the flight there and back. Is this ridiculous?

Resolved Question: My boyfriend travels a lot for work and it's killing me inside?

My boyfriend of three years has two busy seasons: Jan-March and then Aug-Oct, in which he travels three different times for 2-3 weeks at a time. This is killing me inside. We've had conversations about this hundreds of times but it's still makes me unhappy. The twist is that I grew up with a dad who travelled internationally and would be gone for weeks, if not months at a time and I saw what it did to my mom. This fear and sadness from my dad travelling a lot is ingrained in me and really messes with my boyfriend. He gets mad when I compare him to my dad because he says he's nothing like my dad and it isn't a far comparison. I can't help but feel extreme sadness and loneliness whenever my bf leaves for his trips. He makes amazing efforts to text and call me frequently but it's still really difficult. I occupy my time with friends, word and other activities but I end up feeling even emptier. When he gets home, he'll be around for a month or two and I start to feel better only to have him leave again. I don't know what to do. Breaking up isn't an option. I'd appreciate any and every suggestions, advice, similar experiences, etc. Ok really people...SUCK IT UP is not advice. Go f**k yourself. I'm asking a serious question and want feedback from people with similar experiences. If you were to read my entire question, you'd know that I have hobbies and an active social life regardless of whether he's around or not. And also, he doesn't bread on the table thank you very much. Resolved Question: Does anyone know if Child Protective Services could help?

I am trying to prevent my almost 4 year old son (March) from traveling overseas with his biological dad to a foreign country. 1) My son doesn't even know the guy as he never visits. 2) I feel he's too young to make an international travel 3) There is the concern I won't receive him back as the dad talks about just disappearing to South Africa and to heck with everyone. However, due to some circumstances involving the Hague Convention of International Child Abduction, I was pressured/blackmailed into agreeing to my ex husbands custodial terms. The terms declare that my son is to travel to Malta no less than 2 months and not exceeding 3 months no younger than the age of 4 1/2. My son will be 4 1/2 in September of this year, but my ex wants to take him end of May. Also, my son is developmentally delayed and in Special Needs schooling (delay of only 25%, as he is a very bright boy). I'm trying to find the right lawyer who can help me modify the agreement as I now have proof to show the Hague never should have been brought into our custody battle. In my research, I found this phrase below CPS rules below mental/emotional abuse: "being left alone for extended periods of time on short notice with persons who are unfamiliar to the child". I have been pleading for months to my ex not to take our son this young as it would traumatize him. He goes through extreme anxieties when he is not with me or my Mom and is only comfortable around strangers with us. I'm terrified of the effects on my child of leaving with a complete stranger for almost 3 months in a foreign country without me or the family he is used to. Does anyone understand CPS regulations and would they be able to help me? I would like some sort of guarantee before I bring up to my ex, "Hey, I'm sorry but I'm reneging on the agreement because of so so" without some confidence he can't take me to court and take our son. And just to add some details for that one person....I had known this guy for years before we got together. He was charming and poetic and knew every the right things to say. However, he is a master manipulater. He saw an innocent, naive, country girl to mold and form into what he wanted. So when I traveled to his country, it was below untrue pretenses. The moment we were in his country, the act dropped and I was a prisoner. His country may be part of the EU, but I swear it's closer to the Middle East. When I finally left him when our son was 1 year of age, we had known each other for 6 years.

I want to go to college join a fraternity and either have ajob in medical or lawyer because they make good money and i wouldnt struggle but its not a job id really want. Here me i adore to travel i adore music classical, country, metal classic rock scremo alternative indie difficult rock punk pop rock i dont consider rap or any of that stuff music btw . Id probly work on writing songs and selling them my dream since when i was little was to be a singer than green day came along by 5th grade wanted to be a rock star iknow its not a practical reliable job to try i also like extreme things like dare devil stuff i like action . Resolved Question: Australian army commando questions?

Okay, I have just finished year 12 VCE and for the past couple of years I have been thinking of joining the army. I know you receive a lot of people saying I want to be in special forces but it is my DREAM job, I have watched countless documentaries on the subject and the recent Australian doco Tour of Duty: Australia's secret war has only increased my desire to become a Commando. I realize the commitment that it would take to achieve such a goal is extreme and I believe that I am motivated enough to do so. This year I have started going to the gym 5 days a week for an hour or so to increase my cardiovascular fitness and also build up muscle to meet and exceed the minimum physical standards. I realize that SF are the best of the best and plan on completing every task asked of me, and everything I do to the highest standard I can achieve if anyone is there to give me recognition or not. I have a few question i would like to ask, please only straight forward answers. 1. The only infantry role available for full time enlistment that sort of interests me is cavalryman, would I be better off waiting until a role I would prefer to do to gain experience, etc. for the commandos? 2. Would the best way to increase my chances of becoming a commando be doing an infantry type role for say 2 years, then attempt the SF entry test? 3. What are any tips or advice you can give me to pass the initial recruitment process's like the interviews? 4. Is it worth going for runs with a backpack with weights in it to gets use to travelling on foot with heavy packs? 5. If I have a behavior bond from a stupid incident with the police when i was 16 cease me from getting into the army? 6. Would it be best to be open and honest about the behavior bond?

Voting Question: Help! I do not know what's happening!:(?

Well I have been having pains in my back a few years ago and I went to the doctors for it, but they said it was nothing and after they gave me antibiotics the problem seemed to go away. Three days ago I started feeling this pain in my left side of my lower abdomen. I woke up two days ago in extreme pain. The pain was so unbearable I started to tear up, but it hurt so much I couldn't so I sucked it up. The pain started through my whole abdomen and it was really severe. Then, it traveled to my pelvis. Just my pelvic area started to shake. I was scared to death I didn't know what to do so I just tried getting up to receive a pillow to relax between my two legs because it always seems more comfortable when I do that. I tried moving and I couldn't at al because it hurt so bad. The next day, I felt better with my side. I still had bad pains in my left side, but I could still move around because it wasn't that bad. Today I was fine until about 6:30. I was laying on my sofa when I got up to receive my backpack to do some of my homework, but when I tried sitting up, The pain started through my upper back/upper spine area. I could not move for about a minute. I am nice of scared because I don't know what it could be so could you guys give me some suggesting other than go look a doctor!

Voting Question: Ending a long distance relationship?

Hi every Ive been in a Long Distance Relationship for 3 years now, its not as extreme as some, we are just over 3 hours apart, and spend friday to sunday together every week without fail. every our holidays are used to spend extra time together. We talk every day, every our dinnertime is spent emailing, and we talk on the phone every night. The time together is always fantastic.. we dont ever battle or argue, i adore her very much and we totally trust each other. However we have struggled for probably a year now to find a way to be together- we both have safe jobs we have had for 20 years- so initially looked at somewhere inbetween where we could both do long commutes to work, but it wasnt affordable with the travel costs (combined travel costs were absurd). My partner has moved to live with a partner before and it quickly went wrong (luckily she got her old job back) so she wont even consider giving her job up to move to my area.. so the onus was on me to switch jobs Ive spent nearly six months now looking for a good job in her area, and although ive had a few interviews its got me nowhere, the job market in the UK is awful. Its also made me review wether i should leave a completely safe job of 20 years in the first place!. If made redundant in a new position i could be unemployed for a long time. But as much as i adore my partner i dont look the point in a relationship with no future? Weekends are blissful, but in the week im pretty much miserable and lonely every the time- do you think i should end this, and let her and myself find someone local? I have conflicting emotions, part of me cant imagine her not in my life, shes my partner AND my best pal, the other logical part of me tells me theres no future in it... and that sick receive over it eventually. Finally if we did split, do you think that despite the relationship being LDR its always best to be face to face rather than on the phone? And do you think that a long period of absoloutly No contact is necessecary to help us receive over things? Thanks Thanks for the feedback To answer you, its her that i miss, not just any company. Most of every its a sense that with the current situation there isn't a future if that makes sense? And there's no way either of us would accept seeing other people in between, or want to for that matter, we have been exclusive since the first time we dated. Thanks harry, regarding spending a week together to look how we receive on, weve spent 3 weeks together before now, and over a week numerous times (i use every my leave with her) so theres no real fears that we wouldnt receive on if living together we just carried on getting on great.

Voting Question: There is an element in Christianity I particularly don't care for- the "marketing" aspect of it, because...?

When I turn on my TV and browse through the Christian channels looking for some perspective on life, I receive instead a bunch of people showing documentaries on how they are spreading the preaching here and there, talking about how many members their church now has, about how many families they have visited and converted here. I flip from one channel to the next, through fifteen religious channels that I receive, and this is every I look...except for one preacher actually preaching in church...about converting people! After every of this converting to this seeming pyramid scheme I'm wondering WHERE'S THE PRODUCT! What are we "buying" with this "membership"? It seems to exist for no other purpose than to spread for the sake of spreading the word and nothing else. It reminds me of Girl Scout cookies- they compete to look who will sell the most. Where's the perspective on life I was looking for? What is this coming to these days? Where are the messages on virtue, ethics, and morals? It's every "spread the word, tell them Jesus died..." and that's IT! It's the same mind numbing message over and over and over again- like an old worn out commercial that gets stuck in your head. I'm not hearing any morals, ethics, or virtues. There is FAR more to life than just converting people, isn't there? Of every the things the topics touched on in the bible, why the extreme emphasis on "spread the word"? It's beginning to become just that- ONE word. There are many more words in the bible that are being overlooked for this ONE word. What is the word, anyway, because I'm starting to think it's "convert". That one word seems to be distracting from every the relax of the words. It's like a market that sells just one thing. And the thing isn't even a real thing- it's nothing more than a membership. Isn't this wrong? "look, we traveled here and there and saved this many people. Hoary! Join us on our next episode, when we travel there and here and keep that many people. How exiting! Are you excited?" No, I'm not excited. I want some action, some life perspectives on ethics and values and such. What is going on here? Aside from this it's just music. Blah. There is no MEAT/sustenance. Antie pantie- Everything I said and your mind got stuck there? That was every you heard? every YOU HEARD? YOU need some re-evaluation, because I'm not saying the message ITSELF is mind numbing. KEEP UP WITH THE TRUTH HERE- I'm clearly saying that when the message is presented as a repetitive ONLY message then it becomes mind numbing because NOTHING ELSE is going on, nothing else is being said. There is MORE to life than that piece of bread, even if it's GOURMET BREAD. You can't live on that alone, right? Right. Now cease pretending not to understand me just so you can try to find an opportunity be use your sarcasm skills on another person. I AM a person, too, you know.

Voting Question: Very cold road trip, will my oil, engine and battery freeze?

I am travelling to Poland on Saturday in my van for a whole back tattoo. The temperatures at the moment on the way are up to minus -25C. My van is a new Ford Transit which was just serviced by Fords but I never mentioned the extreme icy conditions I will be going to. It is a diesel van. Do I need to change the oil in the engine or anything else that could freeze and cause me problems? Thanks Thank you folks I appreciate your replies, I will receive something for the fuel then which surprises me as I didn't even think about the fuel freezing only the oil. or should I remain a member of The Church Of England that I was brought up into but to find a different parish church to the one I have worshipped in this past twenty years-which was a very ''Traditional'' cofe church.My previous vicar said you need to be very careful if you're considering joining an Elim Pentecostal church.He said its best to avoid these ''HappyClappy'' nice of churches with their ''Tongues'' speaking and falling on the floor ''Slain in the Holy Spirit'' & that i should stay in my possess tradition the cofe-do you think he's correct-should I avoid going to any of these Elim or Aog pentecostal churches,as well as the Charismatic nice of churches? Do you think pentecostal & Charismatic kinds of churches are dangerous and extreme? Do you agree with this ''CCM''(Christian Contempory Music) been played in the churches today,including some Church Of England churches? Do you think pentecostal & Charismatic churches are just ''Entertainment Centre's'' with absolutely no reverence for God. wish someone can give me some advice about this 'cause I am so confused-I dont know whether to stay in the church of england but move to a different church maybe or stay in my local parish church close to where i live or to join an Elim or Aog Pentecostal church-what should i do? Resolved Question: I cheated. What do I do now?

I'm 27 and have been married for 4 years and have been with my husband since I was 21. He is the adore of my life and we have an incredibly glad marriage. He is my best pal. I made a huge mistake this weekend which was entirely my fault. For context I need to explain the situation, but I place NO blame on anyone but myself. With the economy, the last year and a half, my husband has had to travel a LOT for business, and work very tardy even when he is at "home". Our marriage has remained strong, but it has clip into our sexual activity which, I guess, made me feel less wanted. I realize that is my possess irrationality. My husband was traveling for work this weekend. On Saturday, after work, I stopped off for drinks with some friends from work. I ended up ordering a sandwhich because I was hungry, and none of them could stay that long, so I stayed at the bar longer to finish my dinner. A man started hitting on me. I was flattered but, obviously moved away from him. He persisted and, at some point, I started just going along for a drink or two because it made me feel sexy. Several drinks later I was on my way home with him. I cheated on my husband. I would never have done that if I hadn't drank too much (I'm not used to drinking more than a drink), but that is my possess fault as well. The only reason I had too much to drink is because I let him buy me more drinks because it made me feel attractive. Meanwhile, though drunk, I certainly "knew" what I was doing. I am fully responsible for my actions. The next morning I instantly felt AWFUL (and I still do). I realize this was the biggest mistake of my life. I have never even thought of cheating before, both because of how incredibly wrong it is, because I adore and value my marriage, and because I knew how extremely he felt about fidelity. He was cheated on by a fiance before me, and it really shaped him. He is a sensitive, loving, rational man, but he has always made it clear that the one thing that would 120% mean he'd dump me on the spot would be if I cheated on him because "he'd never be with another slu*". Additionally, he made it clear that if I ever did that he'd publish nude pictures of me online. While such a threat sounded extreme, I knew it came from his past experience, and meanwhile I never imagined myself cheating, so I accepted the situation. Now I apparently am that "slu*" :( :( What do I do? Part of me says I HAVE to tell him, he deserves to know. If he had cheated and he didn't tell me, I'd be a million times more mad. Cheating is SO bad but hiding only quadruples it. I made the mistake he deserves to know, it is his right to make his possess decisions. Another part of me says that we have a super glad marriage, I can't imagine life without him (I can't!!!!!!!!), and that I know this would crush him. Since I am wallowing in my possess agony over this I know I'll never do it again, why let one night ruin everything, and living with this is my punishment. But maybe that is my possess self preservation talking? If he cheated I'd want to know? But would I really want one night to ruin everything? I just don't know. Perspective please? PS: We have one daughter, two years old (she was at her grandmother's this weekend)
